Covent Garden Flowers, Saturday
As this holiday was coming up it was a good idea to practice arranging flowers. It also meant Seivarden didn't have to admit she enjoyed it, because she did. And the arrangements were improving. Added to that it meant she could distract herself from the theme of the holiday. It was just a matter of the colour of the flowers, after all.
It wasn't a Radchaai holiday re reminded herself. Sending flowers and sweets to your loved ones could just be done any other day. It just reminded her that she had no family here, no lovers, and no one she was sure she could call a friend. It made sense of course, they weren't particularly civilized most of them, and she would leave as soon as she could. Still, she had reluctantly admitted ti herself that a lot of the time she felt lonely.
So, a perfect day to practice flower arranging.
