Above the Streets of Fandom, Saturday Morning
As was the case on most days at this time of year, Karolina found it just a little too chilly outside for her liking. But, break trip was starting tomorrow, so this was her last day to flex her powers a little before a week in an environment that was likely to be a little less accepting of obviously powered folk. Especially ones that glowed like a pastel rainbow as they flew.
So, she'd braved the chill and taken to the Fandom sky. She was flying above the streets, just above roof-level, enjoying the familiar sprawl of narrow streets below her. Even after the years away, there was something about Fandom that still said home to her.
It was beautiful. She wished more people could've seen it like this.

But there was also a Tony up there who offered her a little wave as he continued taking the roof hot tub apart.

Yes, she was going to ask.

And from a phone game.

Also, she was not even a little bit fazed by that explanation. It was very Fandom.
"Is that a bowler hat?"

"I wanna say that sounds fun, but... This is Fandom, so it was probably an invasion, right? We used to have a lot of those when I was a student."

"Riiiight." It wasn't a disbelieving 'riiight'. More like another way of saying 'well, what can you do?' "That is such a Fandom thing to happen. Was there... a lot of damage?"

Not as much as the X-Men, but pretty close.
