It was just the kind of day that Amaya liked: one that was filled with a lot of stuff to do! In preparation for the summer and any new students coming in, she and Apu had put in some orders for supplies and summery things, and took to the task of getting the shop set up for the new season. She was happiest when she was busy, so her mood was exceptionally good as she put out spinning racks of shining sunglasses, filled up the shelves with new colorful notebooks, and Xeroxed a whole boat-load of Special Order Forms in case anyone was in the mood for something they didn't currently have on stock.

And, man, that copy machine. It was loud and clunky and she wondered if its bulk was entirely necessary, and those were the things she loved about it. That, and it was so much easier than having to replicate a bunch of work orders by hand every single time. She did spend her downtime wondering what she could do to alter it to make it slightly cooler, though. Probably adding more spikes and gears or something.
