The Perk, Monday Afternoon
So apparently, tea was a bit of a... contested topic, around Fandom these days, according to radio. Enough so that the baristas on duty exchanged a Significant Look when Liam ordered a cup today. But he did manage to get his beverage of choice without any actual trouble. Probably because he asked nicely and all.
Tea and muffin acquired, he found a table by the window and had his Global open, scrolling through an email regarding the variousand handwavey uses of rowan ash.

He was coming in and politely getting a very cinnamon-y tea, then looking around for a good table to people-watch from. He nodded pleasantly at Liam.

"And look," he said, shooting the barista a grin, "this way I'm not even pestering you for caf."
Which they were forever grateful for.
Tea acquired, he turned and looked for a place to sit, and then nodded toward Liam pleasantly.

"Yeah. As grateful as I am to still be here, I have to draw a line somewhere," Kanan replied. "I'm good on coffee now for... another year or so, at least."

"And Hera is mostly exasperated that I insist we stop for caf every time we go back home," Kanan noted, grinning. "But hey, people like what they like, there's no helping that."

Though really, if the Perk were to run out of coffee, there would probably be bigger problems.

"Did they run out of coffee or something?" she wondered.

Which was weird. Coffee was better. Fight her.

There was probably a layer of sugar visible at the bottom of the cup, actually.

"My life is very different," she said, gesturing to the bump. "Other than that, not much new. What about you?"
