Hannibal was at the front of the classroom again this week, and he nodded to them all. "Once again, I apologize for being absent last week, however my intention is not to make people sick with this class. So, what have you got for me this week?"

"I am glad to see you are feeling better, my friend," Hernando greeted him. He offered a small basket of dusky brown fruit. One has a wedge sliced and replaced to disclose the salmon-colored interior. He explained when he handed them over, "These are sapodilla."

"Thank you." Hannibal nodded. "I imagine nobody is more pleased than I, except for possibly my husband."

He examined the cut fruit, delightedly. "I don't believe I've ever cooked with these. I look forward to it; thank you."
