Furnado Animal Shelter; Thursday [08/16].
Inspired, as always, by the activity yesterday, Sidon was trying to encourage the animals to tell their stories today. The fish, he felt, were experts at non-verbal communication and well-placed bubbles, but perhaps he simply had an easier time with it because he just understood their nature on a deeper level than most. The dogs seemed far more interested in licking his face than talking, but he did discover that he would get wonderful (or so he assumed, it wasn't like he could actually understand them) tales out of the cats if he just stood there with an open can of cat food in his hand. Oh, they were very chatty then!
It seemed a little unfair, especially since they didn't realize it was even a competition, but he had to give the top prizes to the birds in the end. Birds always were wonderful storytellers.
