Luke's, Sunday
Kanan walked into Luke's and was very nearly bowled over by what he could only describe as a hovering monstrosity composed of noodles and meatballs. It pulled up short just before it could run into him, reared back a little, and then just... kind of reached a noodle out and patted him on the shoulder before flying out the door and ascending up, up, up, out of sight, into the heavens.
He stared after it for a minute, and then looked back into the store, where the staff was staring at him, mouths agape.
"What?"
Welcome to Luke's!
Today's Specials:
Pancakes, your choice of toppings!
Spaghetti!
As Kanan settled in for his shift and chased the staff back to their respective jobs, he could have sworn he'd heard the busboy whisper, "He's been touched by His Noodly Appendage."
... Sure.
[OOC: Open! Possible SP today as the brother unit visits to ransck my D&D books.]

Which he led in with only because he'd managed to make it super weird with all the fretting he'd done over Sabine.

"How'd it go?"
no subject
...
"So, it went well."
He was pretty sure.

Which was maybe not the best take to come away with when this was your introduction to Sith stuff.
no subject
Which was more than he had ever really had the opportunity for before, what with how the Order of his time had basically believed the Sith to be extinct.

"I'm not here to police who anybody makes friends with," he said, shaking his head. "The best I can figure, she's from either a different reality or a completely different era than we are. I couldn't begin to actually tell you about the Sith, as she knows them. If you think she can be trusted..." He shrugged. "She seems level-headed. She seems reasonable. I trust your judgment."
It didn't hurt that Sabine knew how to handle herself.

He sipped at his drink, and then added, "But she didn't attack me outright when she found out, so that's good."
Especially since he'd made a point to leave his lightsaber unassembled.

"I don't know much about this," she said. "I feel a little like I'm about to get an education in all of it."
To be fair, that was likely to be her whole semester, on a few subjects.

Not that she wanted it, she just wanted to put it out there.

The weird handsy one.

Come now, BDG. You couldn't just drop spaghetti and visitor and not expect Summer to want the deets.

Not cool, cook. And this coming from a former cannibal, too.

Garlic bread. Please say it was garlic bread.

He leaned backwards, and then called into the kitchen, "Hey! What's the Sunday special today and forever more?"
"Pancakes!!!"
Kanan looked at Summer, and then just raised his eyebrows.

"That's amazing," she added, once the shock of awe had subsided. "Creepy and weird, but amazing. It's like you've been blessed by some magical flying spaghetti...thing. That's, like, some next level shit."

He turned a skeptical look back toward the kitchen.
'Noodly appendage' murmurings drifted out through the door.

He walked through the door and saw who was behind the counter.
Footsteps fell to a halt just before he turned and walked right back out the door again.

Sure.
