The Holoscene, Tuesday

Raven had an actual reservation today. Someone had contacted her and asked to reserve Holosuite Two for several hours. Sure, she'd had customers before, but somehow, this made it all feel that much more like a legitimate business.

Hey, maybe she could do this whole being a grown up adult type human person thing after all!

Raven finished setting up Holosuite One in a hurry, then turned back to the specs for Holosuite Two. This was going to be fun.

The Holo-Scene was open.

"Do we?" Parker considered that, then shrugged. "It works. Mostly." She took a bite of popcorn, and started snickering as Eliot face-planted. "The recording working like it's supposed to?"

Raven checked the feed and nodded. "You're going to be able to lord this over them forever."

Parker started laughing as the guys kept yelling. And restraints started appearing. "This brings back memories. Heeee."

"Weeeeeird," Raven said. "But also possibly goals."

Parker grinned at her, and offered more popcorn. "Thanks again for helping with this. I figured out a way to do it without the holosuite, but it would've taken way more time, accomplices, restraints, possibly some bribes, and there was a version of that plan where Hardison got a broken ankle. This is more fun."

"I would definitely prefer Hardison unbroken," Raven said, tossing a few kernels in the air to catch them in her mouth. "How stubborn do you think they're going to be?"

Hardison, at least, struck her as very easy going. But Mr. Spencer was extremely good at pushing buttons. . . .

"Very, very stubborn. Which is all the more fun for us! But that's why I thought to bring snacks." She hummed. "Also, it depends on how much they hurt themselves."

"Well, the holosuites have safeties in place. So they'd definitely have to be hurting themselves."

"I'm confident they can do it." Parker paused. "Hurt themselves, I mean. Also, figure out the system and get out before too long."

Although, the longer they took, the more creative Parker was going to get. Something they may not have considered.

"You've got the room reserved the whole afternoon," Raven said. "So they can take their time if they need to."

As the portion of the proceedings that Parker had nicknamed The Handcuff Game got going, she sighed. Mostly in happiness. "You would think they would stop talking. But they never really do. Not around each other."

Hey now, Eliot had tried not talking! But then Hardison had to just keep being Hardison!

"They're going to end up fully mummified by the vines, aren't they."

"Or cocooned. Like that thing in the alien predator movies." Parker snickered as the guys went trampling off into the rainforest. "Could we play something like 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' over the PA at them?"

Raven shrugged. "Might take a second if it's not already in the system's database, but sure." She tapped a couple buttons. "Found it!"
