Summer was starting to get used to the fact that she could come into the store on any given day and find that Apu had set up something weird for some random holiday that he insisted it actually was, but he'd really outdone himself this time.

"Apu," she asked, knowing the answer full well as she looked at all the aisles carpeted with astroturf, all the colorful flags marking little holes in the floor, the fact that he'd converted the Squishy machine into a windmill and there was a little waterfall-and-stream trap set up near the produce, "why does the store look like a mini-golf course?"

And, sure enough, he answered: "Because it's National Miniature Golf Day."

"Of course it is." Summer sighed, and she knew she couldn't even be mad because he'd clear it all up by the end of the day, but she really wasn't expecting to have to carefully step over a fake castle hole on her way to the counter today.
