Second Meeting of the Drunk and Bored Club, The Beach, Saturday evening
Hey, they were a regular club with meetings and all, they couldn't just slack off, could they?
Eh, probably.
But still, after work, Miguel was heading home and picking up a bottle of rum and a twelve-pack of something he'd been assured was a pretty decent cider (he was leaving the beer to Fjord), then hitting the beach. And scraping together the remnants of a fire to rekindle it, since it was just a little chilly.
He sat in the sand and waited.
[Open post! No OCD, though feel free to ignore the "club" if you want to beach on your own.]

He was considering it a win, for now. Whoever the hell Alexander Keith was, they didn't make terrible beer, at least.
"I'm here," Fjord announced, setting his case of beer down and sitting himself down not far from the fire. "I believe that means our club meeting can commence."

He was not wearing them. Even a half-orc from another world was going to draw the line at track pants, no matter how well they fit.

As you do.

Because Fjord was suddenly feeling dubious again.

This place. Still confusing.

Fjord was possibly fortunate in his lack of experience with Beaker in his class.

Drinking on an empty stomach was a bad idea. He nodded at Miguel, who he'd met at the Perk.
He took up a seat near Fjord. "There's three of us here now, does that make it a support group? Someone said that as they were walking past the other day."

They'd had sandwiches with the kind with slices in individual plastic packaging. That.. hadn't been cheese. It said it was cheese, Fjord even admitted the package said so, but.. it hadn't been cheese. This was, a hard white cheddar.
"Why not? There are support groups for everything else."

The answer was 'with beer,' right?

He'd had far worse.
"That's about the kind of support I'm in the market for these days, anyway."

How to answer a phone. Not how to dial.

"Oh? Liam's the one who showed me how to use mine." Fjord paused. "For the actual talking to people part, anyway. But it's good you've got a job. At least you'll have something to fill your time with, now."

Pretty pretty elf, arranging flowers.. really big sword on his back, even in modern clothing.
"Did the clothes fit? I haven't seen you wearing them."
