Homecoming Brunch, The Park, Sunday Morning
As usual, the decorations from the dance had escaped the confines of Town Hall, which mean the park was filled with Halloween decorated sea creatures, "sea" "creatures," and plenty of glitter. It just wouldn't be right to send the alumni home without a few more weird things to dream about, right?

Brunch: Arrive and Mingle
Re: Brunch: Arrive and Mingle
Too bad he'd missed the kissing booths, right?

Re: Brunch: Arrive and Mingle
She was smiling fondly at everything around her; she had missed the island, as well.
Brunch: Food and Drinks
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Right.
Well, if anyone did have an issue with it, they were more than welcome to try to take it up with Summer if they wanted.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
He gave a little, "Yrrp?" as he blinked up her way. Hey, Summer, would you mind helping a guy out?
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Well, it was a squirrel's estimation of a laugh, anyway, and she nodded, gave him the best thumbs up she could manage with her paws, and turned, nose sniffing thoughtfully, to figure out what kind of food he might like in his current state.
Her first inclination was to find the sweetest thing she could and toss that down for him, buuuuut....just as she couldn't get her mind off nuts and seeds, lately, she felt maybe his tastes might be going a little more feline, and, guided by a strong sense of deduction and just the fact that they were literally right there, she reached over to drag a sausage out of the pan, turned around, and held it up with a questioning chirrup.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
See, this was way better than him getting up there on the table with her, right? A cat on the table would probably end in disaster or fur in the pancakes or something.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
He sat himself down again with a little prrt sound of thanks, and then got to work mowing down on that tidbit before looking up at Summer again.
She see anything else good up there?
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Oh! Perfect!
She emerged a moment later, holding several slices of bacon aloft triumphantly before whoop! Makin' it bacon rain!
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Yeah, apparently bacon rain made for a good show, if nothing else.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Time to get international with this.
Those round slices of Canadian bacon would make great tooka-feeding frisbees!
She dragged over a stack of them and started peeling them off, tossing them out one at a time for him to catch, since, well, they were small, but pretty big for a cute little squirrel such as herself.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
They made a pretty good team, didn't they? She threw the meat, he ate the meat, what wasn't to enjoy about this arrangement? It was dinner and a show.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
He was good, though, Summer had to give him that. And she was never going to let him forget this for the rest of his life.
She was, however, going to tear off a bunch of this stuff and roll it into balls and throw some of that down, too. She had no idea what it was, but it looked meaty, so she figured he'd go nuts for it.
Plus, it was BDG. He ate pretty much anything.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Apparently Loth-cats were bottomless pits. Who knew?
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Heading straight toward him with actually a pretty impressive spin, was a great big pancake.
Because Sundays were for pancakes, dammit!
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Getting that pancake square to the face.
"Mrrp?"
It was entirely possible he'd done that on purpose. Look, Loth-cats didn't eat pancakes. And it was a heck of a hilarious finale.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
So much so that poor Summer was laughing so hard her squirrel stomach couldn't take it, clutching it as she fell to the table in a fit of chittering giggles.
...and then promptly rolled off of said table.
But she was okay! She was a sturdy squirrel! She was fazed for a moment, shook her head, shook her tail, and she was good to go.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
... Well, naturally.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
And there she was, a poor squirrel in her prime, crushed under a pancake of her own creation. She let out a little dying coo, one paw stuck out to the side under the pancake, her tail sticking out as well gave one, two...three twitches, and then held still.
And then she squirmed a little until her head popped out from underneath it and started nibbling on the edge. No point in letting a perfectly good breakfast go to waste.
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
Re: Brunch: Food and Drinks
She also needed coffee. So she was getting that, and appreciating that she could make her own without anyone trying to add pumpkin spice to it.
Brunch: Tables and Chairs
Re: Brunch: Tables and Chairs
Coffee: the true breakfast of champions.
Re: Brunch: Tables and Chairs
So he was there, filling up a couple plates with a variety of foods because he didn't know what dinosaurs ate, and then found a spot on the edge of a table where he could alternate between clinging to life-giving coffee, feeding himself, and then tossing food to Jason. His food-catching skill was impeccable, but eventually, they both got a little bored with the game and Prompto just set one of the plates at the end of the table so Jason could just help himself while they both ate.
Re: Brunch: Tables and Chairs
Also coffee.
OOC!
