Turtle & Canary; Monday [11/05].
Astrid wasn't expecting much when she headed into Turtle & Canary for another one of her shifts to help make up for the damage she'd done to the front window. Just another quiet day of ringing people up and maybe making more new signs. She definitely wasn't expect to be greeted with a burst of red confetti from Apu, who also had had a few noisemakers to go along with the surprise celebration.
"...um...?" said Astrid, who figured that was as good a response as any. It garnered an answer, at least, with Apu explaining that it was apparently National Love Your Red Hair Day.
"Where do you even come up with these?" she had to wonder, boggling faintly. "Also, you know this isn't even my real hair color, right?"
But Apu just shrugged it off. He'd celebrated random pointless holidays on a lot less before, after all.
