Caritas, Friday Evening

"Tino, the island has been back to normal for three days," Fjord said, sounding fairly resigned a good two hours into his shift at the bar tonight. "If you don't want to serve patrons tonight, just say so and I'll take point. You don't have to keep walking into the wall."

Tino looked at him, and then clucked like a chicken.

Fjord threw a wet rag at him.

[OOC: And that's that for my Friday spam! Open!]

Amaya wasn't necessarily planning on making a habit out of this sort of thing, but it had been a pretty busy day for her, and the company last week had been pretty nice, and she couldn't just let her apprentice get too bored over here, could she? Besides, she really didn't have much else going on, except perhaps cataloging her weapons again to double-check that none of them had gone missing between the heist and now.

"'Evening, Fjord," she nodded her greeting, "how's the night treating ya?"

That cluck was going to earn Tino a little bit of a suspicious look. 'Round her neck of the woods, a grown man clucking behind a bar was never a good sign, but 'round here? Who even knew?

Amaya decided it would be best to just try and ignore it, really.

"Pretty good, actually!" she said. "Very productive day." Which was, obviously, the best kind of day. Got some stuff moved out of the shop that I've been meaning to get moving, so you know what that means..."

"That's exactly right," said Amaya proudly, matching his grin and not at all surprised. She figured Fjord would be able to pick up on that one, at least. There were reasons they worked so well together. "And, sure, ale sounds just about right. Hasn't steered me wrong so far. Although that does remind me of something I was going to ask you about, came to my attention last Saturday. You guys don't really serve any food here, do you?"

"Hrmmmm," said Amaya, with a doubtful look in the direction of that thumb. That would...definitely be a detriment, yes. She didn't exactly know how she'd feel about food served up to her by a man whose mother, father, and face she'd rather enthusiastically insulted who had also clucked, which didn't usually bode well for anyone, no matter which way you sliced it.

"Well, you see," she explained, "Magnus and I got to talking on our...ugh," pardon the sneer, but it was entirely necessary, "date, that what this place is really lacking is some good meat-on-a-stick. We thought about starting a petition, but we didn't take the possibility of food delivery into account. That might be a bit of a game-changer."

"Atton couldn't even trust him to get him drink the other night," Amaya pointed out, "and that doesn't even involve the kitchen, so...I guess we'll have to see what Magnus has to say about delivery."

She didn't know Magnus well, no, but she could also see it not being much of a problem, no.
