So, chicken in capes today. Breq wasn't that bothered, and it was rather cute to see them dancing on the floor to the Christmas music the stereo kept playing. She hummed along while she arranged the CD's and unpacked a few boxes. Had she been inclined to expressing emotions physically, she would have sighed as she listened to the radio broadcast with headphones, but that was her usual reaction. It said a lot about the people on this island that Seivarden had only got punched once so far.

Warm tea was as usual a good thing on winter days, so she made a pot for herself during a break, pondering what tomorrow would have in store in the way of seasonal surprises.
