Syndulla Scrap, Friday
Vette had done quite a bit of organizing yesterday, as well as, Hera was pleased to see, fixing some things.
So today, Hera was going through some of the newer things that hadn't been separated out yet, and making notes for her of anything useful that might help with those repairs.
At least those Chopper wasn't claiming for himself.
"There's no way that wheel will fit, Chop, and it's not very sturdy. Sorry, buddy."
It was a process.
The scrapyard was open!

So she decided to just walk in and declare to the first person she saw, who happened to be Hera, "I was promised work here."
She was putting on a smile and trying to seem very employable.

She looked behind her, expecting a giant dog.
It was not there.
"...like how he didn't follow me here."

A pause.
"You're not related to the lime guy at the forge, are you?"

"If you're looking for a job, I've got a few days free. The work is mostly categorizing and separating parts into piles, sorting out anything that's useful or dangerous, and taking inventory. Helping anyone who comes looking for something.
"If anyone comes by needing a landing pad," she waved toward the ships, "there's paperwork to fill out. And keep an eye on those little guys." She pointed at the pen of...well, mostly non-bitey bits today, lying inert in the sun, though one was gnawing on the fence and another was gnawing on the first one.
"Think you can handle that?"

Then she looked at the pen.
"What are they?"

She wasn't about to go messing with bitey things that weren't Sadaharu.

She smiled. "You won't regret this, I promise."

"So where are you from, Kagura?"

She fiddled with her parasol a bit. "Just another Amanto trying to make do on earth, like you."

There were literally Amanto that were just 'Dog Tribe'.
They had dog heads.

"Are amanto on your world normal, then? The Earth across the causeway has never seen aliens, apparently."

Statues that, if you were looking at the right, were definitely Chopper-themed, using elements of his design. They were in different colors, though, because Sabine was making her case on getting to paint him sometime.
"Hey, guys," she greeted them.

She gave Sabine an assessing look. "Kanan said you might want to come with us and help out?"

She had a lot of reasons.

It was entirely possible Sabine hadn't realized how much she wanted to hit them back until it looked like a thing she could actually do.
