Outside Ink & Holes, Tuesday Morning
Octavia was on another one of her near-daily patrols of the town. If asked, she probably couldn't have been able to explain why she did it. Sure, it was something to do, and she was the type of person who needed things to occupy her time lest she start going stir-crazy. But there was probably something more to it than that.
She wasn't asking herself what, though.
She'd left the MCA early, walked through the park, stopped at the Perk for a cinnamon latte. By the time she made it to the other end of the island, the takeaway cup was empty. But she was still holding onto it when a display window caught her interest. Ink & Holes, it said. They had pictures of piercings on display, and various samples of jewelry that could go in said piercings. But more importantly, they'd put up tattoo flashes, alongside photos of finished tattoos on people's skin.
And perhaps more importantly, they had a sign reminding potential customers that they also did custom designs, both customers' own as well as designed by their own in-house artists.
Standing outside the shop with her gaze glued to the flashes and the photos, Octavia looked lost in thought.
[ooc: Open post in the street is open!]
