Sidon usually took great care to be punctual when it came to his duties at the shelter, but he needed to remember to give himself a little extra time these days for all the bundling up he needed to do if he wanted to make it to the other side of the island and not be absolutely miserable from the cold the whole time. Of course, he fully intended to make up for the truly unacceptable fact that he'd been approximately three minutes late for his usual starting time by staying after later than what his shift usually called for.

Because he'd been late.

And it was only fair.

Even if he planned on staying much longer than those three minutes.

But it had nothing to do with simply not wanting to go back out into the cold again, honestly! It was merely a matter of fact that there was just so much to do, it would just be terribly remiss of him to just leave> it all for Prompto to take care of tomorrow. And Prompto was a dear friend and so why wouldn't he just want to stay later just to help him out?

It wasn't even that cold, so clearly, it wasn't that.
