Kanan's Warehouse, Friday Morning and Afternoon
Yeah, the whole 'early for meditating' thing seemed to be working out well enough for Kanan, and so he was showing up at the warehouse bright and early for exactly that, settling in on the floor to reach out through the Force and just... contemplate.
Apparently he got right into that today. He had a lot of things he needed to sort out, things he'd been tabling for a long while, and sort of managed to get swept up in that.
So anyone who came in to the warehouse to find him today would see him planted on the floor, eyes closed, unmoving, dust motes strangely still in the air around him.

Kanan remembered the first time he flew the Escape. Not just a ship; he'd flown the Kasmiri before that and it had been more out of desperation than anything. But the Escape had been his ship.
That had been his first real taste of freedom.

And yes, it was hers, and she'd done this.

He was still totally grinning like an idiot. Just saying.

"It's the energy that connects all things in the galaxy," Kanan replied. "It's something to be respected, something to live in harmony with. It's... not really for doing chores."
A pause, and then he opened his eyes and finally looked up at her, smiling crookedly.
"Maybe as an exercise in self-control."

"It's not difficult to do," Kanan noted, smiling faintly. "It's got more awareness than I ever will. It guides, it bleeds if you wound it. The Force is more than a person, it's all things."

Kanan was meditating, so Kaidan leaned against the doorjam and held up the wall, waiting for him to surface.

Kanan appreciated that, appreciated being able to take a moment to sort of meander his way back to himself.
"Someone's in a good mood," he mused, before even opening his eyes.

"Strawberry," Kanan replied immediately, and then grinned as he looked up and nodded to Kaidan with a smile. "So, what's the occasion?"
For the good mood.

"Not bad," Kanan replied, reaching to take the milkshake and taking a sip before adding, "sorting. Coming to terms with the fact that Hera and I have a big job ahead of us and reconciling that with the offers of help I've been given since getting involved."

"Sitting alone with a clear mind and the Force to guide me?" Kanan breathed out a small laugh. "Sometimes. I think right now the best I've got is what I already know. If people are offering help, it isn't my place to refuse it. I don't get to make those choices for the rest of the galaxy."
