Furnado Animal Shelter; Thursday [-2/14].

Sidon had, of course, gone all out on getting flowers for all of his nearest and dearest friends, and he was not about to ignore all the near and dear friends he'd made at the shelter, either! After all, he was a prince with a generousity that matched his incredible size...and a bank account that easily exceeded it. So all of the animals at the shelter were getting little treats and toys and other little things for gifts from Sidon today, which was likely to take up the bulk of his time at the shelter, as each one was being delivered personally with expected, significant words of encouragement and praise to go along with it.

Most of the animals just sort of stared at him blankly, or goggled up their snacks, or sniffed at the new toys tentatively. At least three kittens took it as an invitation to perch on his shoulders and see if this generosity extended to Sidon finally letting them eat him for dinner (he was not). But, overall, it had gone well and everyone seemed quite pleased and happy, and he still had time to get some actual work done, too.
