As much as Astrid had actually enjoyed sending a few flowers (an action on her part that actually surprised her a little bit) and even receiving a few (that surprised her even more, though she would be endlessly amused at the idea of Norman apparently wishing to poison her), she was honestly glad to be done with flowers for a little while, and very glad to be at the job that didn't have hardly any of them today.
There were, however, chocolates.
So many chocolates, and stuffed animals, and little heart-shaped trinkets in bold, unforgiving pink and glitter, all stuff that it was clear that Summer wanted to get rid of as soon as possible, which at least gave Astrid the opportunity to make a few signs so that she could let everyone know that they'd be practically losing money if they didn't buy some of this crap today.
