Port of Fandom (and thereabouts); Friday Afternoon [03/15].
It was warm. It was rainy. There was a definitely possibility of a thunderstorm in the air, but Sidon wasn't going to worry about that unless he had to, because this was the sort of weather he usually spent all winter dreaming about. It made him antsy through all of his classes today, which he dedicatedly stuck with, though the temptation to skip to go swimming was unbearably strong, but he knew that if he held out, then it would just be all the better when he finally did managed to finsih with those and head out in an attempt to get as much swimming around Fandom done as he could before any concern about lightning eventually drove him back into the safety of the dorms.
A day like this was certainly worth the risk! (Though he was fairly certain a few people might disagree with him).
After a good, long swim to refamiliarize himself with the wonderful waters around the island, Sidon went back to relax in one of his favorite spots closer to the land, around the port and the lighthouse, where he could get a good view of the town and the school and the preserve in those moments of just relaxing and enjoying being in the water, and turning his face up and having the rain fall on it in a way that reminded him of the rainy days back home, and he sighed heavily with relief, glad he had the opportunity to take advantage of the day and hoping this warm, rainy weather might stick around for a bit.
[[ and now I finish my Friday spam, because of course this had to happen! Open port (and thereabouts!) is open! ]]
