Yes, Yang had high-tailed (pun intended) it over to Furnado the moment she heard the radio and realized WHY Prompto hadn't been answering her texts.

Which was why now she was at the park, with Prompto, yes, but also two of the other puppies from the store. She'd been going back-and-forth all day, bringing them out to play in different shifts because there was no way she could manage ALL the puppies at once.

"Ready guys? Goooooooooooo..... GET IT!" She flung the tennis ball with a nice, high arc, and Prompto and his new BFFs took off.

"NO! Don't chase the flamingo-- great. Just great." Well, that was ONE wet puppy so far who'd need a bath when she took them back to the store. At least it wasn't Prompto?

Look, there was a group of puppies playing in the park. How was that not going to draw attention, especially from someone who had a soft spot for animals?

Keyleth was standing a little bit away, leaning on her staff and watching with a delighted grin on her face as the puppies frolicked.

"Aww, who's a good doggie?"

Wait.

"All of you! I'm not playing favorites, really."

"Well, two of the three are good dogs," Yang joked. "That little one just tried to take on a flamingo, so he's on probation."

"Well, it's understandable, he is a puppy and they look like prey, but --" Keyleth gave the littlest puppy a semi-stern look. "I don't think those birds are very good prey, okay?"

She wasn't sure if the puppy was taking it to heart, though. Probably not.

"Oh wow," she added to Yang this time, "are they all yours?"

"I mean, I guess, for today at least?" Yang said with a shrug. "That one is Prompto, and when I heard on radio that he had turned into a puppy, I wasn't going to just leave him at the store, you know? I'd get, like, negative girlfriend-points."

"And I couldn't just leave the rest of them alone, so I've been bringing them out to play in shifts." Yang grinned. "Prompto seems to be enjoying it, at least."

"Oh. Oh, wow." She mostly remembered Prompto as his character in Fjord's class, but Keyleth at least had a decent idea of who he was. "I'm going to guess he doesn't, you know, do that all the time?"

"I think this is the first time? Pretty sure he would have mentioned if this was something he did on a regular basis," Yang guessed.

She grinned down at the puppy. "What do you say, cowboy? You turn into a puppy often?"

Was him jumping up and trying to give her lots of face-kisses an answer? Because that was the only answer she was going to get.

"Awwwww, that's adorable," Keyleth said, a little high-pitched from the sheer cuteness. "At least he seems to be enjoying it, especially since he's got puppy friends to play with."
