Luke's, Sunday

Kanan showed up at Luke's today and settled behind the counter, as usual. Put on a pot of coffee, as usual.

Blinked for all of a half a second and looked up to see the rest of the staff decked out in fantasy-style adventuring garb.

That part was unusual.

Today's Specials:
Adventure Pancakes!

"I have no idea what that even means."

Happy Sunday?

[OOC: I blinked and my family had assembled for a D&D session I hadn't prepped for, I blinked again as soon as I got my DM materials ready and they wandered off. Idek today. Open.]

"I'm really glad we didn't get the polar bear," Sabine said, because this was great and she didn't want to get eaten.

"As a Jedi, you'd have a much easier time," Sabine pointed out.

"That should have been noted somewhere, then," she tried.

Because she wanted to see Kanan chase a chicken.

"Ugh, fine," said the girl who had ordered the pancakes just to see what would happen, rolling her eyes.

She hopped off her stool, and made her way slowly towards it, saying, "Here, chicken. Heeeeeee, chicken..."

"You're not funny," Sabine told him, making a little grab for the chicken.

It did not work.

"Oh, I'm catching it now." If he did it from the start, it was funny. If he did it now, it was help, and she was not losing against a chicken.

And now she was watching it, trying to see how the cart was attached.

Sabine glared at him, but that was just going to make her do this better.

She darted towards the chicken, sending it running in the other direction, trying to herd it towards the booths.

Sabine was ignoring him anyway. She was busy getting the chicken to a spot where she could corner it a little, and then coming at it suddenly from a different way so it'd have to come towards her and she could snatch it.

It wasn't fast, but she got it.

"Okay this part I need help with," she said, because getting the rigging off a squirming chicken was not fun.
seriesofbaddecisions: (well that just figures)

"See, this is why you could have done this," Sabine said in a calm, soothing voice, while frowning.

"You owe me a second shake," Sabine decided, carefully removing the cart from the chicken.
