Look. Anyone who'd met other versions of Summer would know that behind that cute and fashionable exterior lurked a true monster. A monster that was in full display as she realized from radio the kids were still here and she had none of them to deal with herself, and went to proudly display a new sign in the window:
Any Child Left Unattended WILL Be Given ALL THE CANDY
Yes, she realized that she ran a huge risk here, that those unattended children would then be hyped up on candy while still in her store, thus raising a holy terror, but that was a risk she was willing to take.
