"Hi...everybody." Peter smiled and waved at those who'd shown up. "Sorry about last week. I promised a nautical movie instead today; this one is supposed to be pretty good, so I hope you all enjoy it. If not, please let me know. I've got another one on standby just in case. If you haven't been here before, the snacks are for everyone." There wasn't any alcohol today; sorry, adults. Peter was playing it safe.

"Anyway, enjoy! And if you have any thoughts for summer movies, please let me know."

Kia perked up when she heard the little green boy say 'Dad' to her Dad. She.. was suddenly shy and ducked behind Fjord, clinging to his legs a little tighter. But what the boy was saying was interesting! She peeked around the side and asked shyly, "Dad threw a giant shuriken into a tree? Like I was throwing knives into one before?"

And Djodge had to grin a little at that, giving her a little nod, even though he was kind of feeling a little chuffed that there was another one, and he didn't know it, but he kind of had a suspicion what with the way his mom and the elf were talking together at the park.

"That's right," he said. "Just like that. I think. I saw that, too; you're pretty good, you know that? But this weapon was huuuuuuge." He gestured a little with his arms, although even that couldn't really do a great job of conveying the size of it. "It's up on the wall at the forge. I didn't get to see him do it myself, it was way before I was bjorn, but Mom tells me about it all the time." Mostly because he always asked and his dad got weird and embarrassed about it if he asked him. "She says he threw it straight across the whole park, and thunk! Right into that tree! The mark is still there, too, after all these years," well, except that it wasn't all these years, but that got a little too confusing for him to bother with, "that's how good of a hit it was!"

And, no, he would never get tired of telling that story, because it never hurt to tell the world just how cool his dad was.

"Thanks!" Kia chirped, standing up a little straighter and peeking out a little more, "I practice lots! Dad's really strong!" She gave that leg another squeeze. "Can I go to the forge and see it too? You're gonna be strong like Dad when you get big, huh? We don't know if I'm gonna be big like Dad or more little and fast like my other Dad yet."

She got suddenly shy again, thinking about what it meant that they were both orclings and they shared a dad. "Um. I'm Kia. What's your name? You're my brother, right? Cuz we have the same Dad?"

"Half-brother," he said, in the automatic fashion of one who was far too accustomed to making half-corrections, but he grinned a little. "And I'm Djodge. Djodge Bjuick Blackstone!"

And he just...had to keep saying it, too, didn't he?

"And I'm definitely going to be strong, because both my parents are strong. See that lady over there? She's my mom, and she's the master blacksmith. And Dad's pretty good, too, but she taught him everything he knows, and I'm learning, too, so you can definitely come by and see it and everything else we've got. Zephyr and I were making some weapons yesterday, too!

"That's my other half-sister," he said, whispering a little as he quirked his head toward the blonde knight-wanna-be in the armor. "She and I have the same mom, and she thinks her dad and our dad need to fight about that. She's completely crazy."

"Oh," Kia said in a small voice, "But what if I want all of you to be my brother, not just half of you?"

She frowned over at the other blonde girl. "That's dumb. Dad doesn't like to fight. He can fight and he always wins when he fights but he said it's more 'portant to get along with folks than be able to beat 'em up."
