Summer was of the very firm opinion that family holidays would go way better if they were preceeded by a 'national holiday' like this year. Because Saturday had definitely helped make getting through being home for Sunday way easier.

And once her duties to family were taken care of (her family was agnostic at best, so she could go on forever about the insistence on the importance of religious-based though fully commercialized and normalized holidays, but Gramma and Grampa Smith were coming this year, and since she kind of had them to thank for the fact that she owned this store right now, she felt it was the least she could do to show up and play nice normal suburbia for a little while), it was back to the island and back to work, and maybe feeling a little sad over losing an excellent store graphic artist, but that just meant she needed to step up her signage game herself.

Which meant upping her counts for glitter on her orders this week. Plus, new semester coming up. They were gonna need glitter.

While also severely slashing the price on all the leftover Easter candy and general Easter stuff, because of course there was still a ton of it. Come on. You know you want a pallet of that crappy crinkly plastic Easter basket grass for, like, a million percent off, right?
