Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Friday [05/03].

So all the vampires were taken care of, there was a general feeling of things going and setting themselves to right again, but Rosa's job wasn't exactly over yet. She was still on full Blackstone Babysitting Duty, partly because she felt kind of bad for kicking her vampired ass in order to detain her, and partly because she knew Blackstone was like her, and if it was her in this situation, she wouldn't care what anyone said, she would try to go about things like nothing had happened and like she hadn't been undead for about three days and like she hadn't gotten her ass kicked and like she hadn't spent a good amount of time trying to do everything she could to tear down a holding cell.

So, yeah. She was making sure Blackstone stayed hydrated, stayed put, and stayed safe. She never thought she'd feel so relieved to hear those goddamn wall-shaking snores so much in her life, but it was really nice that Rosa could keep an eye on her while still poking around the shop downstairs, pausing occasionally to just listen for those snores to ensure that Blackstone was still sleeping it off like she should be and not trying to get back to work or whatever, because she knew that's totally what she would do if given half the chance.

Overall, though, scoping out some of the projects she had going and maybe giving some of those throwing stars a whirl wasn't a bad way to spend a day.

[[shop and shop owner modded with permission, lol; the shop's not really open, but the post sure is!]]

Unless Amaya brought them up, Seivarden wasn't going to mention the excessive number of voice messages she had left on Amaya's phone. She could, however, stop by the forge just to see how she was doing without seeming to worried, could she?

"Amaya?"

She stepped through the door, frowning a little as the place was a little too quiet. She hadn't heard the snoring yet.

Seivarden crossed her arms and leaned against the doorframe. "To make sure she's ok. What are you doing here?"

That question wasn't strictly speaking necessary, but since Rosa had asked her, Seivarden was just returning the favour.

She added: "Just trying out the shuriken?"

She immediately regretted that comment. It was unnecessary. Seivarden made a gesture with her hand. "Never mind."

"All week? I thought you'd be busy catching... whatever was around?"

It was her job, wasn't it?

Anyway, Seivarden knew Rosa well enough to be certain Amaya was safe enough, which meant she really should leave.

"What happened to her? I just heard what was on the radio."

"I thought the sword club team was happy to deal with that sort of thing," Seivarden said. "I was busy."

That entertainment had been really exciting, ok? In the way that you just had to watch another episode, and then you ended up falling asleep six hours later.

She held up a hand. "I won't. And I'm not sure what the medics could do anyway, they're useless."

Seivarden was about to leave, because there wasn't much more to say, but that expression, telling her to leave was... annoying. So she calmly looked around the room and said:

"Tell Amaya I stopped by when she wakes up, and that there's no need to call back to the message I left."

Seivarden didn't trust Rosa to deliver that message, but that would be her choice.

"Well then," she said. "I'll stop by later at some point." When Rosa wasn't there.

She turned and stepped out through the door.
