Caritas; Wednesday [05/15].
Summer knew it was only her second week on the job, sure, but, considering the circumstances, she was deciding that Tino was officially banned. From, like, everything. Ever.
"I listen to radio, Tino! I know Rosa brought you proper clothes! No one's buying this whole 'no other option' narrative!"
No one was buying it, but that wasn't stopping Tino from trying to sell it anyway, and Summer was left contemplating whether the extra money was worth dealing with Tino's apparent love for loincloths.
New Wednesday Special: Jello Shots!
Today's Special: Dinos in Amber
First one free to all Wednesday Activity participants!
Caritas is open! And needs to put some damn clothes on!

"This one's kind of pretty much got your name on it, anyway," she added with a grin, setting one of the jello shots with a T-Rex in it in front of her.

"I also," she said smugly, "made a shit-ton of friendship bracelets." Was there one with little tooka making faces? Yup. Was there another with little pixellated Kaidans with dancing hair? Also yup. Was she mean? Triple yup. The rest were tame by comparison, flames and rainbows and little swords and stuff. Those two, she'd put some effort into. "Want one?" Jack offered, holding up a multi-colored green with tiny little bells on.
A glance at the jello shot had her cackling. "Right on! Thank you! How are people not lining up for these things? A) Booze and B) Fun booze."

"And I don't know," she shrugged a little. "I think it's mostly word hasn't gotten out yet and/or most of the big drinkers in this town already seem to have a designated night and bartender."

She fired back the shot in one go and bit through the gummy T-Rex, chewing for a moment. "These are good. What's the alcohol base? Rum?"

"...after you maybe help me with this," she said after a moment, bracelet and wrist going back out toward her because her attempts had not been successful. Maybe she could get it if she used her teeth or something, but Jack had two perfectly good hands right there.

She reached to help tie on the bracelet. Her hands were empty; she hadn't reached for another jello shot yet.

Did she ask mostly to sound all bartendery? Maaaaybe. And maybe because she'd want to know how to serve it the way Jack liked it.
"And all the dino shots. There's plenty, especially since I usually just foist all my leftovers on Kanan, but, obviously not these. And if they go back home with me, there will be...regrets."
no subject
"Yea-ah, these wouldn't be so much Kanan's speed. Sparkle's, if my favorite little shit is around this week and not shacked up with his boyfriend planning what they're gonna wear dancing on Monday." Jack adored Sparkle. His boyfriend, not so much. She tolerated Hernando.

She was super proud of herself, shut uuuuuup.
"I mean, that's a very important thing to figure out," she reasoned, "what to wear when you go out....I should talk to Sparkle more. I always feel like we'd really get along, but we just never really get around to it. For such a small island, it's easy to miss people. I mean, heck, I don't even think you and I have really had a chance to talk much lately. I'm pretty sure the last time was when I was trying to murder my cat."
And that clearly didn't even count.

...yeah, she was way, way too excited about this.
"What about you, though? You ended up going for some sort of teamwork thing, right?"

She took a drink and had another dinoshot and nodded. "I've got them finding new and creative ways to do the confidence course and then adding other things they have to work together on." She grinned a little, "Creative little shitheads, I'll give 'em that."
no subject
She was one of 'em. She could say it.

"So I've heard from a few of 'em as have graduated," Jack agreed, "though mostly I hang out with teachers."
