Furnado Animal Shelter; Friday [06/07].
So, things were not quite going the way Sidon was thinking they might have gone at the shelter that day. Things were not going badly, of course--how could they, the animals were all talking and they had so many interesting things to say! But Sidon had hoped to come in that day, expecting to be regaled with all the stories that he always asked them about that they couldn't quite communicate before, only to find that (with a few delightful exceptions), most of them were more interested in continuing to just hear Sidon tell his stories, especially since he had some new ones to share regarding his recent amazing journey into Nar Shaddaa.
And who was he to say no? So many of them were just so eager and thriled and it was so nice to hear that they truly had been enjoying all of his stories (well, of course they did! How could they not? His stories were thrilling and exciting and the absoute best!) and couldn't wait to hear more, and now they could add their own comments and questions and it made it a much more interactive process that Sidon enjoyed quite a lot.
It did well to help him forget about the little snippets of whispers he would catch from a tightly gathered group of kittens that were very clearly and not too discretely discussing their plans on finally cornering him, taking him down, and eating him.
He could have maybe done with a little less of that, especially as one of them seemed particularly fond of going into very, very, very rich detail about just how she'd do it, too.
Furnado is open!
