Caritas; Wednesday [06/12].
Summer was sort of thinking it would take a special sort of idiot to not only go skulking around the island in its current state at night, but to also get themselves inebriated before stumbling back from whence they came, but...well...you never knew around this place. Some people could be totally fine; maybe some people even fought better with a little booze in their system. Some people, like her, might just be coming from across the street so it didn't really make that much of a difference, and if anyone did come in and got smashed (despite Summer's best efforts; she'd definitely be waving the Drink Responsibly flag pretty hard tonight), she had a blaster and she was a damn good shot and didn't get nearly enough opportunities to show that off, so she wouldn't mind playing escort.
Overall, though, she wasn't expecting a whole lot to happen tonight, which was also fine by her, because there were some really interesting newly branded bottles to scope out, which lead to some pretty fun and interesting new cocktail ideas.
Wednesday Jello Shot Special!
The Glow-Up
Free to no one this week because you should probably just drink at home*
*great deals on liquor, spirits, and beer at Turtle & Canary!
Caritas is open! And indulging in a little cross-promotion, what?

"So, how did the catnip work?"

Or at least hers were, but she was pretty sure there wouldn't be much disagreement on some of her deeper thoughts from the other felines on the island.
Then she eyed Seivarden's gun.
"So how was the trip over here?"
no subject
She added: "She wants to check whether the world outside had changed every ten minutes or so. Glad to hear the plant was appreciated."
She smirked a little. "Messed up how?"
no subject
"You," Summer thought Seivarden would like to know, "didn't make the list. But Issa did, even if, and I quote, 'the hairballs would be horrendous.
"She also has very deep thoughts about the concepts of existence and non-existence within the confines of a box, and she had a lot of interesting speculations on just where mice go when they go into a hole. I told her they just go into the wall but she didn't believe me."
She sighed, a little wistful, with a faint smile to match. "I'm going to miss her talking. I almost wonder if I can get one of those little voice modulators for her; I know my grampa can make one. He did it for our dog once....granted, then our dog tried to take over the world and almost succeeded, but I don't think Pancakes would do that. She already thinks she owns the world."

Summer, Seivarden reminded herself, made no sense.
"So," she said slowly. "Sounds like a good evening."
She threw a glass at the bottles. "Oh, and is anything safe to drink?"
no subject
"Oh, yeah," Summer assured her with a nod. "Definitely. A little off-brand from what we usually have, but they're all totally fine. I've been killing some time experimenting with them a little..."
Here, she trailed off, dramatically, then grinned. "Are you feeling exciting and more colorful and not boring this week, Seivarden?"
no subject
"I can't really call this boring," Seivarden admitted. "Well, yes, I can, because I'm staying indoors to keep an eye on Issa. And it's not fun, is it? Oh, and I'll have a beer. If you still have beer. No experiments."

She sipped the beer, then said:
"So, you mentioned some non-catnip stuff."
no subject
But she smirked a little with what she figured was the real reason for that. "Yes, I did," she said. "And I'm working on it, but even if I had it now, I'm not about to start dealing while I'm at a legitimate job."
Despite the fact that most almost-nineteen-year-olds couldn't usually legitimately work serving alcohol anywhere else.
"I'll let you know," she promised, "and just drop it off at your place or something."
no subject
Seivarden grinned. "That sounds good, though. And let me know if you need more catnip. Or was that only while the cat was talking?"
no subject
Yeah, that's right, Pancakes. That's what you get for speaking, now Summer could do a totally spot-on impression (okay, but not really) of you whenever she wanted.
no subject
She didn't really care.
