Summer got about halfway through taking inventory before she stopped, blinked, and took a look around at all her suddenly-well-stocked shelves again. She threw up her hands (well, one hand and one clipboard) and shook her head.

"I don't even know why I'm bothering to do this," she said, to no one in particular, "it's all probably going to change again next week anyway."

Still, sighing, she went right back to it, because she figured she might as well take advantage of the normalcy while she could. Running a business in the fickle economic climate of the actual world was a tricky affair enough as it was, much less running a business in the fickle locational climate of the island's apparently inconclusive whims lately. So she plugged along with inventory and orders as usual today, figuring she'd be glad for it sometime in the future, although who even knew when that preparation would really even come to frution.
