There was still a note in the window saying
NOW HIRING
If no one applied, she could always take on more shifts herself, Breq told herself, and Tisarwat, the young Radchaai who had seemed a little lost, had shown some interest. Breq told herself it didn't bother her that there was another version of herself that this kid had known. It didn't matter.
Keeping the shop in order did matter, and today it was hard work since it was raining rose petals. At least it smelled nice.
