Turtle & Canary; Wednesday [09/25].
There was an exceptional amount of lobsters in the store that day. Shunsui had thought maybe Summer-chan had gone a little overboard with her ordering since it was her last week and all and she did seem a little preoccupied with the idea that he'd be incapable of doing them himself (conveneniently forgetting the fact that he had been doing orders for this store just fine back when she was still in grade school), but that seemed a bit of an odd thing to stock up on. So he checked, and, sure enough, no lobsters on the order at all, because it wasn't like it was a hot selling item for them even on a good week, and when one of the lobsters came up to the counter with a few bills in one claw and a pack of shrimp chips in the other, Shunsui realized that all these lobsters had come in as customers.
They didn't buy much, really, but they were mostly keeping out of everyone's way, so Shunsui didn't mind.
And, hey, at least they weren't crabs.

"Oh, what now?"

You could tell it hadn't actually been very traumatic by how she was... mentioning it. Out loud.

"So ka?" asked Shunsui, with an intrigued tilt of his head and a faint smile to match. "What did you go and get yourself into that requires shaking, hmm ♥?"
Shunsui, for his part, had absolutely not noticed anything strange about the weekend at all, which was generally how he floated through most of these events. He had been achingly curious about how things might have turned out for the poor, love-lorn host of that party, though...

She shrugged. "I think I was trying to marry someone to murder them and take their money."
no subject
"Did you succeed?" he then asked, mostly out of curiosity for how Octavia-chan would answer, since he doubted it. He'd like to think that if someone was murdered, he'd know about it, although he'd admit he was absolutely terrible about paying attention to his real job.

Some of the hair on the side of her head had come lose from the braids, and she pushed it back behind her ear. And shook her head, with a quiet little sigh that sounded a little exasperated. At the island, probably. "No, we didn't get far enough with the marriage part of it. Seemed like I'd already done it someone else before, though."

He should know, after all.
He was writer.
Sort of.
Which reminded him, he said he was going to try and get books for her, didn't he? He made a mental note to hopefully remember this time around.
"How lucky for that other person that you didn't get quite so far this time," he noted, "though I could think of far worse ways to go ♥."

Also, yes, she had too many opinions about death-related things.

Not that it would have worked, if he'd been poisoned, but getting a new gigai would be a terrible hassle...

Trying to break up a marriage that didn't even exist in the real world.
She pulled a slight face at... the whole thing, really. "I think I prefer talking to you as myself, anyway."

You'd think the femme fatale might've rubbed off on her enough for that to come out sounding even a little less mild, but no.

Well, yeah, Shunsui, because she was a plant...

Then she settled on: "The onsen?"
She actually thought she'd seen that on the map at some point, but that didn't mean she knew what it was.

Shunsui may have discovered, on more than one occasion, that they also tended to frown upon naps, as well.
"We should at least give it a try, Octavia-chan &hearts. It might not beat out the park, but I can guarantee, it's far more relaxing than the counter ♥."

Octavia Blake, queen of Never Relaxing Ever, saying okay to something that might help her wind down some? It was more likely than you thought!
"I work tomorrow, but I'm free afterwards?"
no subject
And, little did he know, in that moment, just how grateful he would be to have all the relaxation he could get before the weekend really got into full swing
assuming I remember to submit it before tonight lol."Where do you work, Octavia-chan ♥?" he then asked. "I don't believe that's come up yet, or we've simply had much more interesting things to talk about than work ♥."

"Mostly they seem to yell at me over the phone about orders they've sent in incorretly themselves."
