As she had now finished getting the basement in order, Breq decided it was time to clean the store itself. Not that it was messy, but it was now her responsibility and she should keep it as spotless as she had kept herself as a ship. One shelf at the time was wiped completely free of dust, as was every CD case, every instrument, and even the hinges to the back door got lubricated. She let the stereo choose its own eclectic mix of music, humming along to most of the songs.
