Janet had managed to book a flight home last weekend before her parents could even find out Parents Weekend was a thing, so she'd missed last week at work, along with so many arguments.

She might have forgotten to warn Apu about that, though, so now he seemed to always be watching her as she worked, silently judging.

Personally Janet wasn't sure how that was different than any other week.
