Turtle & Canary; Monday [01/20].
Mondays were order days at Turtle & Canary now, it was true, but it was also, apparently, 'Apu airs all his grievances day', too.
Which Summer was so over, and was feeling incredibly glad that she decided to splurge on some air pods because all she had to do was pepper in the occasional nod and agreement and 'yeah, yeah, I'll talk to him about it, don't worry' while Apu trailed her around the store as she took inventory, not hearing a word of what he said and instead being treated to her various Spotify playlists, and Apu was absolutely none the wiser.
And as she settled behind the counter to start actually inputting the orders while Apu continued on, she briefly considered putting up a suggestion box for these kinds of complaints, but she was pretty sure there were no boxes even big enough to hold them all, not even with the physics-breaking, bigger-on-the-inside, bag-of-holding type of technology available to her.
It's not like she needed to actually hear what Apu was saying to know what he was complaining about, either. So this was fine.
