Furnado Animal Shelter; Friday [02/07].
In contrast to yesterday, the shelter was pretty quiet today, with most of the animals seeming to be pretty tired and sleepy, no doubt from all the excitement of yesterday. But as Sidon set to work, being as quiet as he could while mostly moving things onto and off of the higher shelves, he noticed, every once in a while, a scurry of cats that seemed to run by, one of them dragging the long ribbon of a measuring tape while the others went scurrying after it.
Which all seemed like innocent fun and games until some of the older cats got a hold of it, and now seemed to be considering just how they might be able to use it to somehow trap this large and elusive source of food once and for all.
They would, clearly, need a bigger measuring tape.
