The training warehouse- Friday afternoon
Back in October Rey had learned that being on island when everyone was gone was not great for her, so she was spending next week at home. It was sort of weird to think that maybe she didn't work so well in isolation anymore, but here she was. And while she knew she'd probably be working with Leia some, she was still taking today seriously knowing there'd be a week off.
She had the remote out and was actually doing well against it. It wasn't on the highest setting at all, but she'd been at this a while and had found a zone where she knew where the blasts would be coming from and for once she actually wanted to keep this going just to see how long she could.
She figured she wouldn't think the same in two weeks.

Maybe she could distract him.

So both of those would happen.

One day she'd tell him about the poor fish nuns.

Rey at least had the sense of mind to knock the remote back with the Force before saying, "Wait. No."

Sorry, Kanan and Summer. Rey was a walking spoiler.

Maybe Cade.
She hadn't really been able to have this conversation with Leia yet.

She was stuck thinking about stuff like that a lot.

She meant it, too. Of course she did.
