Caritas | Friday
Cait came in to find that the specials had already been decided by Tino. That was a little disappointing, since he'd had his own plans, but all right…
Friday Night Specials!
Free Corona if you haven't been to the Mainland recently!
He looked at Tino and then back to the board again.
"Ah dornt gie it," he said, taking his seat behind the bar and fixing the man with a peculiar look. "Free swally? Whit kin' ay a special is 'at an' whit hae ye got against th' Mainlain?"
Caritas is Open!
[That Summer and Cait talked is FB, but what they talked about is NFB, please!]

And, hey, it wouldn't hurt since she didn't know if she'd be able to get drinks at the Nest.
Plus, she wanted to check in on her adorable, unintelligible new coworker, too.
"Cait!" she said, plopping herself down on what sometimes felt like just the wrong side of the bar. "Good to see you're still here!"
Not that she imagined he wouldn't be, especially since nothing really weird had happened since he showed up, but you never could tell around here.

"Summer, mah lassie!" he said, promptly shutting Tino out—Cait hadn't really been following Tino's explanation of The Evils of The Mainland anyway.
He beamed, instead, as he turned to her, his tail flicking Tino in the chest dismissively. "An' whaur else woods ah be? Is thaur somethin' better ah shoods be lookin' intae?"

"And, hey, could you make me another surprise drink?" she asked brightly. "The last one you made was really good."
Because of course she would have thought so.

… It had been pretty though.
"A body surprise bevvy comin' up," Cait said, just as brightly. "Hae ye got a coloor yoo'd loch it tae be based oan? An', ah, mah boss tauld me tae come haur an' gab a break, ye kin?"

So she'd just....ignore it for now.
"Green, please!" she enthused. "I'm celebrating St. Patrick's Week this year."

Cait hopped off his seat to peer at the options thoughtfully.
"Ain whit," he called up, "pray teel, is St. Patrick's Week?"

Maybe they were talking about different Kittys! Maybe it was a whole Squanchy situation, she didn't know!

"Nae a real a body! She's a delightful lass an' an accommodatin' boss," Cait said, laughing, as he got to work on putting together her drink. "But it coods be fin tae stage a false a body, dornt ye hink?"

There was soemthing about the way that word trailed off, though, about the way Summer's eyes sort of lit up, about the way a finger was resting on her chin, that suggested maybe she wasn't quite as reserved about it as the statement may have suggested.
She did miss a good coup.
Even if this one wasn't a real one.

Or, well, he did and thus everyone had to.
