The Beach, Sunday Early Evening
Octavia spent so much time by the water for boat reasons these days that she hadn't really come out to the beach by herself in a while. Tonight, though, she'd been taking a walk, and had found herself drawn to it, just to sit a while.
It was her favorite spot of beach on the whole island. Out from where Pie Lane met Serendipity, where she could sit on the sand and see the lighthouse. She'd read up on its purpose sometime in the last few months, as she tried to learn a little more about sailing, and so she knew now its job was to guide and protect people.
She didn't know why that seemed to speak to her on a level that wasn't just the obvious, but she figured one of these days she might want to visit it, see what it was like on the inside.
But not now. She was too busy watching a few porgs bumbling around in the sand. She would've sworn one of them was trying to show off some yoga moves.
[ooc: Open, duh. Last chance at catching her for the nextseven years month or so.]

But they did seem to love Duke most of all.

One of the porgs burbled inquisitively up at Lucifer.

She looked like she did it without second thought, like she did it all the time.
"I suppose."

"No reason," she said. "I was just passing by. And I hadn't come here in a while."

"This is not the yoga spot."
This one was hers.

... in that he didn't care what the geography was beyond how it could carry him from his club to his home to someone else's bed.
"Now I'm starting to regret not going more often," said the man who had only gone to ogle Duke the one time.

Well, Duke had mentioned something about how maybe he should have tipped.
"Think you can do that just fine in other places around the island."

She was going to have to re-evaluate everything she thought she knew about him!

"So surprising you'd say that."
It was not.
