Breq had a piano to deliver later this evening, and she had decided it was best to do it herself. It would have been easier if she had had more bodies, but things beings as they were, she would have to manage with the one she had.
Meanwhile she was trying to endure the invisible crickets that had invaded the shop, and probably the stereo as well, since it refused to play anything. She would have to make do with a loud choir of insects, and accepted the situation.
