On the beach, Friday mid-morning
So the beach stake-out had proven to be a bust--there had been no sign of Redd or his counterfeit art op--but today was a new day, and so Steve was up and ready to bring this criminal to justice.
In Fox Court, or whatever. Don't think he hadn't been eavesdropping on that, Silver.
He was no longer in his foxhole (heh, he was secretly hilarious) and was instead just patrolling the beach like a normal person who had their head on a pivot looking for things that were out of place. Nothing to see here, folks, just a cop working the beat.
[OOC: Expecting a few, but open!]

Most of which featured the fact that it was hard to take the actor seriously.

That barely worked in Hawai'i, Steven.

And he took off running in the other direction.
He moved crazy fast for someone who shouldn't even be bipedal.

"On it," Steve said, already racing past Danny due to his freakishly long legs.

Good thing he hopped into that handy rickshaw the moment he cleared the beach again.

Right into the heart of town. Where there was sure to be plenty of foot- and rickshaw traffic to keep things interesting. . . .

The only reason.

"Hold onto something," he muttered as he floored the accelerator and got to...maybe 20 miles an hour.
Low speed chase in rickshaws! It could be worse! He could find the stairs!
