Astrid had gotten her old job at Turtle & Canary back, much to Apu's apparently chagrin, and Astrid felt it said much more about him that he'd remembered his disdain for her while it had completely faded from her memory. She wasn't about to let it bother her, though, especially since it hadn't bothered her then, and she was mostly just here for the extra money in her pocket and an attempt to push more of her postcards than she was likely to sell at the flower shop.
So there was a box of sketched and painted (mostly watercolor) postcards of flowers and animal villagers and teal deer and various spots around the island set up in a shoebox with a sign promoting their $5 (or $2 with other purchases) price, and she would have settled in to make a few more in between customers if it weren't for the fact that Summer was already taking advantage of having her back on staff to go and update all the signs.
She did make pretty good signs, though, so she couldn't be too upset about it.
