The beach, Wednesday morning
It was a normal week. A perfectly normal week. Duke had gotten a full, normal night's sleep last night; he hadn't had any sort of trauma since the nightmare horses. The bruises from Haven were fading. He felt good and strong and normal, god dammit.

So, totally not stalling.
Just... turning up on the beach in clothes fit for yoga. It appeared she'd taken something of a liking to leggings since her return.

"Ha yun, gona. This going to become a regular thing?" He would be very happy if this became a regular thing.
no subject
No, he probably didn't know, Tavi.

"Okay, I got 'step out'. That's it. You asking me on a date?"
no subject

She dropped her bag onto the sand, then bent down to untie her boots.

"The whole point," Duke said with a rueful shake of his head, even as he stretched his arms up for a quick full-body stretch. "Is that mortal bodies need to move. Or they start to fall apart. Or at the very least, aren't going to be as good at having fun."
