Devil's Nest, Monday night

No, it wasn't Eric's normal night, but he'd gotten a very strange, kinda rude message from Lucifer, and so naturally his reaction was to tuck Lucifer's piano out of the way, hire a DJ for the night, and move all of the decorative plants that were blocking the way to the axe range.

Petty? NEVER.

The sign in front said, HALF OFF ARROGANT BASTARD ALE

(and Eric would never tell he'd bought it by the case because the label art had amused him so much.)

After a few beers, Eric added a SPIN-THE-BOTTLE GAME ONE NIGHT ONLY (NOT YOU, TINY UNDERAGE CHILDREN FROM THE SCHOOL GO AWAY)

The Devil's Nest is open! The Devil has, apparently, left the building, and Eric was sending texts out to people to tell them to come over. Not because he was lonely or anything. That was ridiculous.

Steve was looking for a beer and was maybe staying away from Tino just in case he'd listened to radio and had figured out who had beaned him with paint the other day, so here he was at the other bar, drinking the special and making a face.

That beer had...way too much personality for him.

"You know, I promised I'd only patronize the other bar in town," Danny said, looking around the place to find it different than the times he'd been in before.

You know. Not patronizing the other bad in town as strictly as he made it sound.

Tiny muttered something unflattering under his breath but got beers.
