There had been a delivery of new instruments, mostly guitars and digital pianos, and Breq spent the day unpacking them. Some she didn't recall ordering, but that was hardly a surprise, and it meant that she now had a rather impressive collection of flutes from all across the multiverse, several of them adapted for non-human species. Although being stuck on the island was becoming increasingly frustrating, at least this made the day better.
