Annie still wasn't exactly sure whether it was always this easy to get a job, or whether Eric was just really nice. Either way, she turned up a little early for her shift to look through the bar and familiarize herself with what was here.

And if that meant she spent, like, ten minutes straight throwing axes...well. Turns out she was (unsurprisingly) really good at it.

In any case, she ultimately ended up behind the bar with a guide to common mixed drinks open on her phone. Frowning at the ingredients as they came together and she attempted to 'muddle' the drink, Annie took a sip of her very first-ever mint julep.

"Who orders this crap?" she asked Tiny, offering it to him. "Taste this, I need to know if it's always bad or if it's me."

No, Annie, it wasn't your fault that mint juleps were disgusting. They did that all on their own.
