Summer was generally trying not to be too worried about the fact that her last texts to Seivarden, in an attempt to ensure that their lines of communication actually were still in tact, had gone unanswered. After all, she had started with a warning that she might not want to be anywhere too public when she got the next one, which was definitely going to be a picture of Summer's scandalously ungloved hands giving a peace sign because she thought that was hilarious and liked to imagine she could hear Seivarden's irritated Aatr's tits! from all the way over here, but she also realized that it was the kind of picture that would equally earn her radio silence as it would a tirade.

The cat pictures, though, showing how Issa was doing in her new home and how she was totally not having anything to do with the cats in hats from yesterday, not getting any response was a bit more distressing. So she was going to focus on her work and her orders and getting everything prepared for a little more traffic than usual with homecoming this weekend, and letting Apu handle a few specials since he was apparantly feeling inspired.

Well, Summer thought, that was definitely one way to try and get rid of it, although, considering the first part and the fact that it wasn't like they'd likely be drowning in candy again tomorrow, she was pretty sure he did it just to see who would be so bold.
