The beach, Friday afternoon

Duke normally saved his sandy yoga routines for Wednesday mornings, but he'd spent most of the morning hunched over a work table on his boat, putting together a little neck pouch out of some scrap leather to hold the resurrection totem thing Nina had given him yesterday, and his back was tied up in absolute knots.

His boat was feeling a bit lonely lately, too, so he headed out onto the beach, where he could time his movements to the waves as well as his breath, and soon enough found himself unwinding into a half-pigeon pose as the sun baked into his skin.

He didn't even mind when the porgs started climbing up onto his back. Or when Octavia got weirdly possessive(?) and chased them back off before going back to rooting through the rocks and sand for treasures.

He'd really needed this.

[mostly because I staved off my own panic attack just now by doing yoga in a sunbeam. I'm really going to miss being able to fling myself into a random quick youtube exercise video at a moment's notice when I have to start going back into the office all the time again. . . .

So I can't be assed to cook or go to Baltimore today, but I'm terrified Ching Tai will disappoint me after all these years, Lucifer texted, at some point, for some reason. Do you have anything to do today, or can you come help make sure this leap of faith isn't completely wasted?
