Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey had kind of gotten off of her schedule this week and that was fine, but it meant she was trying harder to get to form today. She'd taken it easy at Summer's last night on purpose so she'd be fine today, and rather than running the course she was taking it back to Form III today, just because it was the first one she'd learned.

Plus it was active and helped with that slightly nervous energy that came with hoping Anakin had forgotten about any radio notes he'd had to read.

Silver had been here long enough to know where Rey regularly was on Fridays. He usually wasn't one to interrupt when he knew someone was busy but he had missed her.

He didn't actually say anything at first when he came in, not wanting to break any focusing going on.

She was able to keep her focus, but it might've been easy to tell by the smile that she knew he was there.

"Hi."

"Hi," he said with a smile of his own. "Hope I'm not interrupting."

"Not at all," she said, and made a point to even finish this pass before stopping and shutting down the lightsaber. "I've been at this a while."

"You're pretty good at that." He would forever be impressed by people's ability to fight gracefully.

"I'm getting there," she told him, clipping the lightsaber to her belt as she walked over to him. "I try to get a little better every day."

"I admire your discipline." That was a trait he definitely lacked.

"Not hungover are you?" He listened to radio, yeah.

"No, I was good," Rey smiled. "Heard radio?"

“Yes I did,” he said. “Talking about boys, huh?”

"I said nothing but good things about you," she promised.

"That's a relief," he said, chuckling. "I wasn't too worried; I figured if you were disappointed you would have stopped speaking to me by now."

"You are nowhere close to disappointing me," she told him.

"You could have said there was room for improvement so I'd try harder," he joked.

"Rey?" Anakin called out, coming into the warehouse.

"Over here," she called, though the lightsaber sound might've also been a giveaway.

"Alone?" Anakin checked like a giant drama queen.

Did you hear that sigh, Anakin? You probably did, since she couldn't facepalm while holding a lightsaber this way.

"Don't facepalm while holding a lightsaber!" Anakin added helpfully.

"You're enjoying this too much," Rey told him.

[sith_happened]

"Maybe a little bit," Anakin admitted with a laugh.

"It was supposed to be Nina's day."

Not that she'd considered that at the time. But she'd considered it a lot before bracing herself for radio.

"There would've been a lot more squealing then," Anakin said dryly.

"I was prepared for that part," Rey admitted, shutting down the lightsaber for the moment.

"No one is every truly prepared for Nina's enthusiasm," Anakin said.

"I was semi-prepared for it," Rey corrected without skipping a beat.
